About the Book

  Gina Bina Ballerina
Gina Bina is a very chubby little
collie puppy and she is a bit
clumsy. But this doesn't stop Gina
Bina from dreaming about being
the ballerina star in Miss Flora
Flamingo's show at the Canyon
Theatre. Gina Bina struggles so
hard to dance as gracefully as the
other little ballerinas in Miss Flora's
class. Gina Bina doesn't quite fit in
with her classmates and nothing
she does seems to work out right.
Most of the children are always
poking fun at Gina Bina, except for
Daniella Duckling, who shyly
supports her 'different' little friend.
Gina Bina's mother is a wonderful
nurturing character who gently
encourages her young daughter to
follow her dream. The story is well
crafted by author Cathy Howard.
The illustrations by artist Vanessa Knight seem to jump off of each page with amazing
character expression and life. Gina Bina is sure to capture your heart!  This story with
a very special surprise ending will delight children of all ages.
                The lesson:
Never EVER give up on your dreams.
They might just come true when you least expect it!
